A Beauty is a woman who is proud of who she is and from where she comes. She is a woman who takes life’s experiences and grows from them. She is someone who has morals and values and exudes them in all her actions. Beauties are 40 to 59 years young.
A Doll is quite like a Beauty ~ sweet, sexy, sassy and classy! Personality is the key to success if you want to be a Doll. Dolls are friendly, compassionate, kind and caring. Dolls have no fear of going out and talking to people. Being a Doll is a prerequisite to becoming a Beauty and a Calendar Girl. Dolls are 21 to 39 years old.
I am Jimisu Balko and it has been my goal to create and produce these calendars. I am very excited this project is now in its third year ~ calendars with 100% of the net proceeds going to Houston's No-Kill Animal Rescue Shelters.
I want to promote and empower women and at the same time bring the much needed attention to the conditions of animals facing abandonment, neglect, starvation and cruelty. It breaks my heart to witness some of the intolerable conditions and even death that some of our stray and abused animals have to endure.
Our mission as Beauties and Dolls ~ Save our Fur Babies. Thank you for helping us achieve our dreams in helping all God’s precious little creatures!

Jimisu and Her Beauties on Bikes are PROUD that the 2011 Calendar benefits Scout's Honor Rescue. Scout's Honor Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization that focuses on rescuing and placing dogs and cats in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. Scout's Honor is often the last resort for animals who are left abandoned to die in pounds or on the streets.
