The Story of Patrick

Picture
Jimisu and Her Beauties wholeheartedly support Patrick and dedicate this page about our Pets to Patrick.

Patrick's Story: The 22 story apartment building is equipped with garbage chutes on each floor for tenants. Someone had no more use for this dog. They had starved it to near death, put it in a garbage bag and threw it down the garbage chute. A maintenance worker cleans out the bin every few days and on Wednesday, March 16th they were cleaning out the contents of the container to go directly into a trash compacter. The bag moved a little and the worker opened it to find a moribund dog inside ~ pathetically thin, cold and near death.

Click here to read the rest of Patrick's story and please join us! Jimisu and Her Beauties are members of The Patrick Movement Texas organization.

TINY (front and center in the tuxedo) is my beloved pet who died in my arms a few years ago. Marvin Zindler ran a story on my son Paul, who had severe Asthma and presented Paul with the precious gift of TINY. That was more than 20 years ago!

Chihuahuas are reported to help asthma sufferers and what a difference TINY made with Paul! TINY was 19 years old when Marvin did his follow-up story on TINY and Paul. It was filmed just before Marvin passed away and TINY passed away just weeks after the story ran. RIP both of you, we love you! ♥ You both made our life so much better!

PRANCER was given to me by my son Paul for my birthday, December 22nd. What else could I name her but PRANCER? She loves to sing for me!

CUPID was also given to me by my son on Valentine's Day. Hence the name CUPID. PRANCER has now taught CUPID to sing along with her., it too hilarious!

Our Fur Babies! This is ARISTOTLE, our tuxedo boy on the far right, you can call him ARI. AMADEUS is our Tiger Tabby boy, center and ANNABELLA is our littlest fur-baby girl.  They love to hang-out and watch movies all together.

They are all rescued fur-babies! ARI literally jumped into my car; AMADEUS was rescued from the parking garage at my office after weeks of feeding him every night; and BELLA was rescued by Kyle late one Thanksgiving eve just as a freezing storm was blowing in.

This is our sweet and hilarious boy, MAXAMILLION and please, call him MAX!

Just don't forget to call him if you want to go for a walk or play "snake" or "turtle" or "hall soccer!" MAX is a Scout's Honor Rescue Siberian Husky, he is the 'face' for 2011 Beauties on Bikes!
